The Head to Health website is changing
As part of changes to strengthen Medicare and improve access to free mental health services, the Australian Government is rebranding the national Head to Health website. Soon it will be renamed Medicare Mental Health. This name change will make face-to-face, online, and digital initiatives more consistent with other trusted health services funded by the Australian Government.
Over the coming weeks, you may notice changes to how the website looks, including a new logo and colours. The rebrand and name change will not impact the services or the way the website works for help seekers, carers and health professionals. You will still be able to access information and services through the Medicare Mental Health website, as well as connect with other trusted mental health providers and their services to help you, or someone you care about, support their mental health and wellbeing.
Mental health and wellbeing options you can access on the website include:
- crisis support
- helplines and web chats
- clinician-supported online therapy
- self-directed education programs and tools
- moderated peer support forums
